Please read through our conversation course descriptions to see which one is right for you. Please note that even at a Beginners level, some prior knowledge of French is required for these classes. Some students choose to do a conversation course as a supplement to another course, others simply do this kind of course on its own. A vous de choisir!
Begintermediate French Speaking Skills (A2)
Mondays from 2.00-3.30pm
If you would like to start putting some of what you have already learnt together in full sentences - out loud - then this is the course for you. It is designed for people who already have a fairly basic knowledge of the French language (roughly 250 hours of recent study) and who would like to start using it with confidence. In this class you will learn new vocab, and use it in a variety of situations and scenarios. We will also work on using your different tenses in spoken French. Would you also like to have fun? We do that too!
Time: Mondays 2.00-3.30pm (90 minutes)

Term 3 - Monday 22 July – Monday 9 September (8 weeks)
Term 4 - Monday 14 October – Monday 2 December (8 weeks)

Intermediate Conversation (B1-B2)
Mondays from 11.30am-1.00pm
This is a great little class for French students who would like to spend a bit of time each week discussing things in French. We will watch some news and current affairs items, read and listen to articles, discuss French society and culture. Activities and topics are planned to maximise student participation and enjoyment. Everyone gets a chance to talk. Come along and enjoy! There’s NO homework!!!
